I'm certain several of you may have heard a strange call the other day from an unknown sender leaving a vague warning about catching a cold. It's in many ways suspicious and dubious, but given the nature of Somarium, the sudden change of weather, and the fact that it's the month of the new moon, it's best to not take any chances. Plus it never hurts to try and stay healthy during the winter seasons even on "normal" standards. [using the term loosely because what's considered normal anymore?]

The other point of this message is if anyone managed to procure any additional information our mystery caller. Other than more vague riddles and generic hints, I only received yet another name of a person I have no idea about. Which leads into the third point: has anyone tried to contact either Ryan or Aisling? It's been a while since we've heard from either of them. Or perhaps if they're listening right now they could step forward and answer a few questions for all of us.

There's actually another purpose for this message that is of particular importance for those involved with the Police Force. In case anyone missed Kay's accidental broadcast earlier, Chief Prosector Miles Edgeworth has fallen into a sleep coma. Prosecutor Franziska von Karma and Chief Inspector Javert have also been missing for some time, and after some investigation I believe they are incapacitated as well. I have also been unable to contact Commander Snake.

Hopefully there will be no incidents that will warrant our involvement, but I thought it best to bring this to everyone's attention.

That's kind of cool though. You can have two different looks if you just turn your head the right way.

There's at least one other officer around that I know of, but I think those of us who are awake should be able to handle anything.

I saw Detective Vermillion around earlier, but I'm not too sure about her status right now. However, I am quite sure that Private Curtiss is around. I could probably find him easily enough. I haven't heard anyone complain recently about Potter being gone or in a sleep coma, so he's probably also someone that could probably be counted upon as being around.

Other than that... a few seem to have disappeared completely and others I'm not too familiar with.

Uh... well, he spent a lot of time going on about faces. Like wanting to see what he looked like was shallow. And he kept insisting he was just trying to look out for us. Stuff like that.

The new moon has, so far at least, proven to be when Somarium is most unstable and has the most nightmare induced influences. If there is one constant, it is that during the new moon things usually turn for the worse. This of course doesn't happen all the time, but enough to warrant some caution.

So, bad things usually happen during New Moon months, huh? If that's the case, you're probably right. Seems to me like we gotta watch out since whoever made that call seemed pretty suspicious for how friendly they were being.

I don't know when exactly they went into a sleep coma except for Mr. Edgeworth as his was broadcast on the network. But I can still feel their souls, so I think they're still here in Somarium, not disappeared.

Private Jade Curtiss here. The disappearance of our superiors is quite troubling indeed. Have they left orders for who to take charge in event of their absence?

Thank you for responding, Private Curtiss. As far as I know of, there have been no documents on what to do should this happen, I would assume we should follow the chain of command, use our best judgment, and hope they return soon.

I have yet to receive a response from them so who knows what that could mean. But as for my conversation with our mysterious "friend"—[it's rather clear he's being a bit sarcastic with the term.]—he mentioned someone named Tim and that we should hear the story from the "other side," by which I mean Nitiri.
