I know you've officially dropped Tamaki but I know you mentioned he's the legal guardian so I don't know if he would have... I don't know, had a will or something?

Okay! Uh, Alice would have all the property rights to the original manor and Valjean's assets. Tamaki would have made sure that she would be the principle beneficiary for that, plus what interests may have accumulated over time. He would also have set aside her own trust fund and he would have set some of his money into it to help pay for living expenses, school, etc. So she's still pretty rich |D

She also would of course keep all her own stuff that she acquired while there...

And it's through text, too, because oh no what if it was voice and she sounds upset-- that it won't seem like she's trying to get him to feel sorry for her so that he'd talk to her! Yes, being subtle is the right thing to do just in case in her mind. She'd wouldn't want to be like "HEY IM HAVING A PROBLEM COME HELP ME" or put him on the spot. That, and he's not the most compassionate person who seems like he'd be willing to help a fellow teen. One who she's not sure if he is technically a friend, but she's limited on friends anyway which is why she's messaging him.

tl;dr she is being very careful in how she regards him to try to not come off as annoying/needy/etc. Also over complicating things like the insecure person she can be. ]
